Desire in Motion is celebrating its one-year anniversary on April 15 at 6:30pm for National Canadian Film Day (@canfilmday ) with a 35th anniversary screening of THE FALLS (1991)! This free screening at The Paradise Theatre will be followed by an in-person Q&A with writer/director Kevin McMahon and producer/editor Michael McMahon. THE FALLS, the debut feature film by Kevin McMahon, is a sprawling journey about all things related to Niagara Falls. The film's ethereal nature and gorgeous cinematography by Douglas Koch, who recently worked on David Cronenberg's THE SHROUDS and CRIMES OF THE FUTURE, makes it a breathtaking spectacle, just like the waterfalls themselves. The film's eclectic score by Kurt Swinghammer was notably sampled on Boards of Canada's album Geogaddi. This screening is co-presented by @planetinfocus and @cinssu Trailer edited by @pvlegreenthings 🎟 FREE tickets are on-sale now at paradiseonbloor.com
