Plan A recently assisted with a new fuel storage facility at Bundaberg, located within the QR rail corridor.
This facility represents a major efficiency benefit for the rail operator whereby diesel locomotives can pull up next to the tank and refuel directly, instead of requiring co-ordination with truck deliveries.
This development was able to be undertaken as Accepted Development in consultation with Bundaberg Regional Council.
It is particularly satisfying to drive past the Wacol Logistics Hub on the Ipswich and Logan Motorways and see this 45,000m2 Warehouse being operated by Winning Appliances.
This development is Stage 1 of the Wacol Logistics Hub with future stages approved and currently under development.

The State Government has formally announced its review of South East Queensland’s Regional Plan (ShapingSEQ) which provides the framework for growth management in SEQ and has strong impacts on development potential in the region.
As part of the review, a formal notification period will run for 30 business days during August 2023. This submission period enables landowners to give feedback and commentary on the direction of ShapingSEQ, with a particular focus on dwelling growth and housing choice and diversity.
As planners we are actively working with our clients to provide advice on how amendments to SEQ could impact their site and are preparing submissions to the State Government to support amendments.
