Mura would definitely be invited to the Met gala!! I don't really keep up with celebrity anything but this year's theme was definitely a fun one!, I wanted to participate too!

Just a lil lore I guess? Mura is half Japanese and Azul is Jamaican (it won't be entirely defined in the story as their world isn't the same as ours but for conversation/lore sake that's their nationalities) Mura didn't grow up in Japan but he visits regularly. So his top is a yukata penguin jacket style mash up with a more colorful (it's usually just red and white) Jamaican banana patterning that Azul also has on her coat.
