Oh, you thought I was just gonna hand over the hosting duties to my bestie Lisa Luxe and quietly sit in the corner like a well-behaved Victorian orphan?? BABE. Absolutely not. Not today. Not for my show. Not for my absolute fever-dream of an idea. This is my story, my unhinged brainchild, my personal love letter to harm reduction, community, recovery, relapse, reclamation, glitter, grief, joy, and every single messy miracle in between. I’ve been reflecting deeply on what I’m doing with my creativity and this platform—and I’ve realized something: I’m here to disrupt. (hello, Aquarius energy). My art isn’t for everyone, and it’s not supposed to be. Burlesque was never meant to be polished or safe—it was born as gritty, messy, sexy social commentary. And that’s exactly what I’m here to bring back. I’ve been exiled. Talked about. Dragged through the mud. I’ve lost friends without conversation. I’ve been bullied out of “safe spaces” and written off before anyone asked me who I really was. But all of it has shaped me into who I am now: a disruptor, a creator, a woman who refuses to stay small. Here’s the truth: • Sex, drugs, and rock ’n’ roll nearly destroyed me. • They also gave me my redemption. • On November 1, 2012, I began my recovery journey—and I’ve been walking a never-ending path of freedom, service, and self-discovery ever since. Science tells us that altering consciousness is one of the most human things we do. From caffeine to psychedelics, from alcohol to meditation—even animals seek altered states (dolphins get high off pufferfish, birds eat fermented berries). The urge to shift our minds is not a flaw—it’s our nature. And that’s where my next creation comes in. A wild, dirty, glitter-soaked exploration of sex, drugs, rock ’n’ roll… and the recovery, resilience, and rebellion that come with it. We’ll confront stigma. We’ll play with taboos. This meme? Honestly… it’s me producing this show. EcoTease was built on love, late nights, spreadsheets, sparkles, and salvaged materials—figuratively and literally.
