A very unique detail at the Hidden Lake project is the fully integrated @pivotwindows roller shutters.
Designed to sit seamlessly within the @collective_carpentry facade, each shutter is recessed into the cladding for a clean, refined look. When deployed, the full metal system glides smoothly within insulated tracks, paired with a thermal break and enhancing the overall performance of the home.
The adjustable design allows for filtered light and airflow, or full closure for complete fortitude.
The system enhances performance at the window while offering an additional layer of safety, helping protect the home during events like wildfire exposure or hail.

Delivery days are always one of our favorite parts of the job, and this one was extra special. Since the project was right here in our hometown, we were able to help facilitate a full one-day, beginning-to-end installation of a massive lift-and-slide door.
This incredible 12-foot-wide by 8-foot-tall door was installed by Cascadia Builds here in Washougal. Because the site was so close, we were able to bring out our glazing robot — equipment that normally stays back at our warehouse for processing incoming units — and use it to transport the door all the way into the backyard, where we set it directly in place for the crew.
The speed and coordination of the install were incredibly impressive. At 7am, the existing door and siding were still fully in place. By 1pm, the team had opened up the wall and prepared the new opening, and by 7pm the new lift-and-slide door was fully installed and ready for use.
Great windows matter — but great partnerships matter even more.
