Obviously drag is extremely makeup-oriented. Originally in my drag I didn't use eyeshadow at all, and on my debut I didn't even wear foundation. I had a lot of pretty toxic ideas about masculinity versus femininity in the beginning because I was raised in church + theater, which for me was oriented around traditional ideas of what a man is supposed to look like, pitting them against women, etc. I've come so long since then. I've chosen a specific type of masculinity I like to perform, and it's gay and handsome and this emoji specifically >:)
I use the @mehronmakeup water activated palettes and @morphebrushes eyeshadow pretty much exclusively with @elfcosmetics brushes and base makeup

Twin Cities Pride runs a food shelf and warming center I have been supplying and organizing with this month. They are responsive, reliable, and SAFE for struggling LGBT families who often struggle with knowing who they can trust.
If nothing else, this is a party to raise awareness, be together, and help your neighbors. It will be safe, you will be valued, and we will boots slay mama down yes god et cetera. :)

Watermelon Watermelon is a terrible method and everyone's been lying to you about it. If you're unsure on your words, follow your lyrics by making approximated vowel sounds.
Test costumes by doing a trick in them BEFORE you get on the stage. If your costume breaks its the ultimate mood ruiner.
Don't look at your feet! Look near the spotlight! It sucks! Owch! That's showbiz baby!
Stop using eyeliner to make your beards and use water activated makeup and a brush! Eyeliner is SO expensive and lasts for two months while a palette and liquid seal will last you years.
Drag is an investment. You're a small business, so there's no point where it'll be profitable unless you get the lucky opportunity to pursue hard work. Not everyone has the ability to do that.
Do drag when you go watch shows. You NEED to practice so may as well be seen supporting in face.

Pippin Panic VS Cerberus the Hound at Lush Lounge and Theater, Mpls MN. The show was called Drag Discovery, an open stage competition. As the top two, we were left to a random lip sync battle, and our single judge picked one winner.
At the end of it all, our mentor Rose Nylon decided to choose Cerberus as his winner. If i'm honest with you though, dear viewer, my heart wasn't in the battle, it was for the man i was fighting! My competitive nature left the building and I spent half of the song making heart eyes at him! 😍
