Today is the @tim_eckels_jr_memorial fundraiser to benefit the folks at @phwff_ftmeade 🇺🇸 @phwff began in 2005 serving wounded military service members at Walter Reed Army Medical Center returning from combat in Iraq and Afghanistan. Through a curriculum of fly fishing, fly casting, fly tying, and rod building, participants experience nature’s restorative healing powers while building camaraderie, connectedness, and community—directly increasing their sense of belonging, resilience, and post-traumatic growth. How you can support the fundraiser: Grab lunch or dinner from our pals @rndeats1 who will be set up today until 7. They are donating back a portion of their sales from today. Buy raffle tickets ($20/arm length) and throw your chances in for some pretty fun prizes and bundles. Stop in and make a direct donation to the organization in Tim Jr.’s memory by scanning the QR code onsite Meet folks from the Ft. Meade chapter and learn about how you can support their efforts throughout the year. Make a purchase today - a percentage of today’s sales goes back to organization - draft, to go beer, merch, gift cards, snacks and sodas. We have guest beer tenders all day - retired and active duty service members will be with us all day so leave them a tip when you check out. 100% of all tips are going back to the organization.
