Soma is a robotic interface that transforms a participant’s re-enacted dream movements into machine-generated expressive motion. Developed during a research-creation residency at @sat_montreal Electronic Engineering Support: @vieuxneant Mechanical Engineering Support: @Marilyne Roy Technical Advice: @pierre_gaudet Soma is part of a broader research into Dream Science and Artificial Intelligence, created in scientific collaboration with @dxe_lab and INIT Robots Lab, with sonic explorations by @madmusiquescientifiquephd .

Presented our NeurIPS Creative AI paper on a robotic interface for dream movement reflection. The Creative AI track now feels like home — and the people here gave me so much energy to keep stumbling forward.

ReVerie [Interactive AI Performance] IEEE VR 2025, Saint-Malo, France. - In collaboration with Keon Ju Lee (music composition) - ReVerie reflects on the evolving trajectory of dreaming, computation and power, while exploring the scientific concept of ’Dream Reliving‘. The AI system transforms audiences’ whispered dreams into immersive audiovisual experience through a 3D generative diffusion model. By making the hidden landscape of dreams visible, ReVerie invites audiences to contemplate and reclaim agency over subconscious narrative, investigating an alternative future of dreaming, computation, and power structure.
