Another homebrew from the Pinter and this time itâs the Hopewell Brewery West Coast Lager weighing in at 4.5%. One of those beers that disappears quicker than you planned because itâs just ridiculously easy drinking.
Pours bright, crisp and proper clean with that snappy lager finish, but then you get those classic West Coast vibes coming through with citrus, pine and a little bitter kick on the end. Feels lighter than a pale ale but still has enough hop character to stop it being boring.
Fair play to Pinter again as well ridiculously easy to brew and it actually tastes like something youâd happily get served in a decent taproom. Proper sunny evening beer this one.

Right then⌠this Pinter collab with Lagunitas has turned out an absolute belter. Sumpinâ Easy at 5.7% pours a lovely golden haze with a thick white head that sticks around nicely.
And honestly, the brewing side couldnât have been simpler. Pinter have basically made it idiot proof which is ideal for people like me who normally treat instructions as optional. Minimal faff, straightforward process, and a beer that actually tastes like you know what youâre doing.
On the nose thereâs loads of citrus and fresh hop character grapefruit, orange peel and a touch of tropical fruit. Taste wise itâs smooth, crisp and ridiculously drinkable for 5.7%. Nice gentle bitterness throughout with a clean finish that keeps dragging you back in for another sip.

With a trip next week to Dublin I had to brew the @guinness Dublin Porter with my @pinter_uk I think itâs my best brew yet! Toasted notes from the roasted malts, low bitterness with some sweetness.
