A defining feature of an award-winning home.
Designed and built by Pinnacle Pools, this pool is more than an addition. It’s an integral part of the home. Shaping the outdoor experience and anchoring the connection between architecture and landscape.
Following the natural contours of the site, it settles seamlessly into place, framing long views toward the surrounding hills and creating a sense of calm, continuity, and space.
As the Green Home of the Year 2026, this home reflects a holistic approach to design, where every element is considered, purposeful, and deeply connected to its environment. The pool plays a central role in that vision.

Green Home of the Year 2026 — Kāpiti House by Studio Pacific Architecture
This home on Kāpiti Coast knows its place, not just as a shelter for its people but as a small part of a much wider whole.
Set lightly within a rural clearing, the buildings sit among wetlands, gardens, and productive landscapes that support both biodiversity and food growing.
The house itself can operate off-grid, with careful material choices, low embodied carbon, and passive environmental design guiding every decision.
