Where sound becomes an object, and space becomes an experience. We designed and fabricated the Art of Noise exhibition at @cooperhewitt — a sweeping exploration of music, sound, and the design of listening across more than a century. From the bold cobalt environment to the architecturally precise display tables, and immersive listening lounges, every element was conceived and built by our team to give over 100 objects — from vintage gramophones to Braun hi-fi systems — the stage they deserved. Next stop: True to Myself Station. 🚇 We designed and fabricated this immersive subway-themed activation for @rarebeauty at the Sephoria Experience. From a full-scale train car interior completely, custom bench & grab handles, illuminated "ad" panels, to a merlot newsstand kiosk and graffiti on the station wall. Every element was conceived and crafted to transport guests into the Rare Beauty universe. Oh Polly’s first flagship store on Melrose is the result of a comprehensive Design + Build effort by Pink Sparrow. The project represents a pivotal step for both teams: Oh Polly’s entry into physical retail and Pink Sparrow’s continued expansion into permanent retail environments. From concept to completion, Pink Sparrow led the spatial design, architectural detailing, fabrication, and integration of AV and lighting systems—ensuring every element served both brand expression and functional retail needs. Anchoring the store is a sweeping 14-foot tall curved LED wall that creates an impactful, ever-changing backdrop for content and extends Oh Polly’s digital presence into the physical space. Surrounding this feature, Pink Sparrow’s brings the environment to life through illuminated niches with rotating mannequin stands, interchangeable display platforms, and thoughtfully designed fitting rooms with tunable lighting. Together, these elements give the space flexibility for new drops, events, and evolving storytelling throughout the year. We’re very grateful to the immensely talented team @hovercraftstudio for bringing us on as the fabrication partner for The Coinbase Arena experience from this year’s NBA All Star Game. The project was recognized by the @clioawards for Immersive Experience Design (bronze x2) and a mention for Innovation for the use of emergent technology.

Whalefilm is proud to unveil BxB—a 16-block immersive build at the Oakland Coliseum. Designed, fabricated, and produced with precision at scale, this absolute monster activation represents our biggest step yet in creating environments where creativity and engineering meet. Working hand-in-hand with our client Lally Events and end client Block, we transformed 1,000,000 square feet of parking lot into a living creative hub where 8,000+ employees and guests gathered to connect, collaborate, learn, laugh, and be entertained. From intimate meeting spaces to symposiums, team-building activities to massive activations, this was a city built for ideas, energy, and community. And it all came together in just four months, from concept to showtime. The only way a project of this magnitude becomes reality is through the tireless dedication of passionate, talented professionals. Old friends, new partners, late nights, and relentless effort—it took everything, and the result was truly monumental.
