I’ve truly never been more humbled. I’m so excited to be a part of @vinepair Next Wave Awards and named Bartender of the year! Incredibly honored to be recognized in such good company.
I’m so lucky that I have been able to work with so many incredible bartenders in the past few years and @grandarmybar for giving me the platform to be myself. I couldn’t have done this without the best mentors @alpal_625@slushiewill and @adammontgomerie

Created by Patty Dennison (@pineapple_patt ) and Ally Marrone (@alpal_625 ), both alums of beloved Brooklyn bar Grand Army, the bar draws from late night diner culture and dive bar spontaneity and runs it through a modern, hospitality-driven lens. 🗽The food menu leans into classic comfort: deviled eggs, grilled cheese with tomato soup, and a fried chicken sando topped with pimento cheese. The cocktail program is where things get interesting. A Guava Negroni built with Suyo Pisco and guava eau de vie. A Greek Salad Martini with piparra brine and cucumber distillate. A Banana Old Fashioned with banana water. A dual signature cocktail ordered Pat’s Way or Al’s Way depending on whether you lean blueberry or strawberry. 🍌
Their mission is simple and refreshing: only bangers make the cut. 🎶

Today is my last shift at @grandarmybar ! Truly some of the best 4 years of my life. I have never worked at a place that has really embraced me for who I am and let me shine!
It really has been a pleasure to get to know so many people in this bar over the years, and it makes leaving much harder than anticipated. I cannot thank everyone enough for supporting me during my time at GA! So many friends, drinks made and laybacks poured!!

Yeehaw, @yachtclubbar is coming to party with us during @barconventbrooklyn ! On Tuesday June 11th, we’ll be celebrating @eatdrinkbemaryandmclain ’s birthday - there will be hot dogs (obviously) and country music, it’s going to be great and we are so excited to welcome them to Brooklyn.
