We recently got to work with the greatest UK metal band of all time @sikthofficial for this very special session at @marshallamps studios. This felt like culmination of an awesome year of work. I feel very fortunate to have been asked to collaborate with some of the most talented musicians to come out of this genre. Sikth are the band that basically shaped how metal sounds today but existed in this liminal space pre MySpace so have fallen through the cracks of history a bit. As a 14 year old, it was like hearing aliens - I had their logo all over my school bag and textbooks and Mikee’s lyrics painted on my bedroom wall. Also, this song was the first thing I ever watched/heard on a new thing called YouTube when it first came out… Our updated recording is available to watch now on @sikthofficial YouTube. Thanks to the band and @adamdarat for having us along, and for @adamjbeer for being so accommodating to our team whilst engineering the session too.
