My new documentary film I AM THE BOMB starring @duncanxtattoos is out now on @earthhousesessions We @driftstudiolondon shot this a couple of weeks ago and it all came together quite easily after. Duncan was extremely generous with his time and really encouraging and entertaining. I particularly enjoyed our time together once the cameras were off. I hope this film might appeal to anyone with a relentless creative drive or the desire to actively reinvent themselves. I recently went over to Geneva with the legendary @jazcolemanofficial whilst he was premiering his new symphonic version of Dark Side Of The Moon. We recently got to work with the greatest UK metal band of all time @sikthofficial for this very special session at @marshallamps studios. This felt like culmination of an awesome year of work. I feel very fortunate to have been asked to collaborate with some of the most talented musicians to come out of this genre. Sikth are the band that basically shaped how metal sounds today but existed in this liminal space pre MySpace so have fallen through the cracks of history a bit. As a 14 year old, it was like hearing aliens - I had their logo all over my school bag and textbooks and Mikee’s lyrics painted on my bedroom wall. Also, this song was the first thing I ever watched/heard on a new thing called YouTube when it first came out… Our updated recording is available to watch now on @sikthofficial YouTube. Thanks to the band and @adamdarat for having us along, and for @adamjbeer for being so accommodating to our team whilst engineering the session too. Great to be back inside the Earth House, this time for a music video with @urneband for their fantastic new single ‘Be Not Dismayed.’ The song absolutely rips and the band have a new album out in Janury, which signals the start of their new chapter as a 4 piece. Joe, Angus and James are proper lifers of the London metal circuit and it was great to be part of this journey as they continue to persevere and evolve, now with Kurt in the fold too.
