Piltdown is a KC doom metal band that will try and bring new things to the genre that are not "generic". This jazzy number is something I havent seen anyone attempt and I am a huge supporter of bands doing something outside the "box". MORE JAZZ IN METAL.
I'm glad to have finally caught their whole set and they did a fantastic job opening up for Doom Metal legends Pallbearer. I previously had walked into their sets with only a song or two left in their set. I cant wait to see what they do in the future - another great band from the greater kc area. Really solid dudes too. I might have to post another track cuz the video is so sick. I highly reccomend checking out the full video up on my y.t. page. Rad self expression from these real ones.
