This will be the second show of the tour with Bugs On a Log and I am so excited to get to share another night of joy n jams! These talented stewards of folk/bluegrass/americana music are all electrifying players and it is going to be an incredible set!
I’m also so lucky to be playing with Lily T! Seeing her performance last year at Spruce Coffee was one of my favorite experiences in New England! She is such a talented artist and her songwriting is inspiring!
I’m super excited to play this show!!
The last time I was in New Haven I had the pleasure of playing at Spruce Coffee and I didn’t just see old friends, make new friends, and write a song on their piano, I felt at home. That’s a rare feeling on the road and every time I feel it, a bit more hope gathers in.
Come hear some beautiful music and gather some hope on 5/31!
Hey yall! 3/21 we have a fun & chill unplugged event in Vernon featuring @eshaallay@margotnoarmario@ashtrayangelmusic and @pilleated ! An april love song-
Daisy, daisy, give me your answer do
I’m half crazy, all for the love of you
When I wake up, I’m thinking about you
Wearing makeup, painting your nails too
Curtain, curtain, green as the moss’s dew
One thing’s certain,
More than anything I love you
“incisor” written for @school_of_song too
canine canal bone
teething stubbing cone
when the doggy gives you shit you run with it, you know
idle cotton thigh
wrinkles incise signs
when the baby bites the tit you run with it, you try
splint and bitter joints
sacred calf’s slashed loin
when your body breaks by bit you run with it, you run
when your body breaks by bit you run with it, you run
for @school_of_song
Laurie at my grandmas house shoutout grandma
Laurie, please. Laurie, please.
who made the crater
the lake of geese
the sidewalk bleach
the flattened crease
up above the world so high
like a diamondback’s black eyes
Laurie, to be.
Laurie lies. Laurie lies.
Laurie says you’re a freeway cottonmouth
an old bicycle tire
and what will you try
you have no why
why for the pasture
why for the lake
why fore the little lamb is crammed in the snake
Laurie lies.
Laurie do. Laurie do.
as a cuckoo cannot undo
the holly juice
the spinal glue
Laurie do.
up above the world so high
like a diamondback’s black eyes
Laurie, to be. Laurie, to be.
