We aim to nurture you with nature - grounding outdoor pilates 👣, glow in the horsebox sauna🔥, plunge (if you dare) 🧊in the ice bath or step under a cold shower and learn some wonderful self help massage techniques with gorgeous natural oils 🪔

I absolutely love these guidelines! (ACSM)

1. Just doing something is better than nothing - any form of movement that makes you warmer, slightly out of breath or raises your heart rate is great✅
.
2.Do something that suits your goals - if your goal is being an active parent/grandparent practice floor based moves (mat pilates 😉) where you can easily move from floor to standing
.
3. Do something you like - the joy of movement is amazing if you CHOOSE to do it. For me, my favourite movement is generally something outdoors 🌳🩵
.
4. You do NOT need a gym! - True! There are so many ways you can achieve resistance training - your BODY is one of them (but banda, dumbbells & furniture are a few accessible & affordable alternatives) 💪🏽

5. It does not have to be extreme - unless you are on a training plan for a specific event or competition, the guidelines recommend 2 to 3 times per week. 🫶🏽

🪽MEET THE TEAM 🪽 Hi - my name is Debbie and I teach Pilates & fitness classes around the Appleby area & online.
I am in my 19th year of teaching - teaching mostly Pilates, with the emphasis on functional fitness -
exercises designed to aid you in daily movement.
I try to promote an enjoyable experience when you join a session, aiming for a relaxed but effective approach where everyone should be able to work at their own level without feeling the need to compete.
Connectivity & social network is at the forefront of my sessions, so please don’t be shy!
My session at The Coach House is a hybrid class combining small equipment interval pilates, classical mat work & relaxation.
