M&A married at the lovely @longacrebarn and brought all the colours! They loved sunflowers and we built the arrangements around that love! A beautiful and relaxed day just how the wanted 🤍

KELD FARM 🌳
A little intro for our new followers - Long Acre Barn is based on a small family farm called Keld Farm. The word ‘Keld’ derives from the old norse word ‘kelda’, meaning a spring, fountain, or marshy place.
We plant trees to help hold water, and we have created an area of wetland which has since become home to wading birds like peewits and curlews. We have a herd of rare, native British Lincoln Red cows and we lamb 150 sheep.
We’ve farmed here for 4 generations and as farming is ever changing and unpredictable, we decided to diversify to support the farm, and begin opening up our beautiful space for others to enjoy. At the heart is our barn, built in 1859, which provides the perfect space for a party!
We welcome weddings, parties, community & charity events. We host the local choir practise, a weekly Pilates class and various craft workshops throughout the year.
Our latest addition to the farm and Long Acre Barn is our in-house kitchen - @acrekitchen_ . This is headed up by our daughter Emma with the aim to link the farm with events through the language of food.
If you’re a lover of nature, Cumbrian fields, walled gardens, brilliant food, beautiful old buildings, then this may just be the place for you.
Come and visit us on the 4th April when we will be opening the doors for our annual open day.
