đľPhoenix AZ chapter of the free, monthly breakfast speaker series ⨠Everyone is Creative and Welcome
Next event: âCREATEâ 5/22 @ Ignite by BBB
Meet our May speaker, Giovannie Dixon, aka @justcreatedit ! Born and raised in Los Angeles, Giovannie is a Jamaican American multi-disciplinary artist & muralist. He is a self-taught artist who began his career by exploring spray paint in the streets of Phoenix. As a practicing artist for five years, he has expanded into public art projects, large-scale commercial, and residential mural projects throughout the U.S.
His artwork resonates with the pulse and energy of urban life, capturing the essence of the streets and their diverse cultures. Moreover, he celebrates and explores the richness of black culture, infusing his creations with symbols, themes, and iconography that reflect the heritage and experiences of the African diaspora. His compositions speak to his personal journey as an athlete turned artist, bridging the gap between the worlds of sports and art. Through his work, he aims to forge connections, provoke thought, and inspire others to pursue their passions fearlessly. Giovannieâs catchphrase is âYou create YOU.â

Aprilâs global theme is EMBER. It was chosen by our Poulsbo chapter in Washington @cmpoulsbo and illustrated by Sarah Gordan @sarahgordondesign .
The literal meaning of ember is a small piece of burning or glowing coal or wood in a dying fire. But as a metaphor, it means so much more.
Our Poulsbo chapter had this to say about the significance of this monthâs theme:
âEmbers represent the quiet, enduring remnants of fireâwhat remains after the intensity fades. They carry a smoldering potential, a subtle strength that holds heat long after the flames have gone. As a quieter community outside the city, we may not always burn the brightest, but we never burn out. Our spark lives in reflection, resilience, and the space we have to pause, think, and grow.
In those calm moments, we find what many others miss: the steady glow of ideas, relationships, and dreams that donât need noise to thrive. Embers remind us that even after challenges or change, something powerful remainsâready to reignite when needed. We hold that same quiet fire within ourselves, and in community with each other, we kindle more.
Together, we tend the quiet fireâfueling one another through presence, care, and shared warmth.â
What ember is quietly glowing inside you? And what new fire will it ignite in your life?

Februaryâs global theme is Camino, Spanish for âpathâ or âway.â It was chosen by our @oviedo_creativemornings chapter in Asturias, Spain and illustrated by @martaviladesign .
âItâs inspired by the centuries-old pilgrimage of the Camino de Santiago, which passes through our region in Asturias and has been a symbol of journey, discovery, and transformation for generations.â
So, what path are you on? If youâre feeling stuck, try moving your body to unlock your brain. Talk a walk, doodle, or sing. Soon, the way will reveal itself. And if you are feeling overwhelmed, slow down and focus on your next step.
You donât have to know exactly where your path leads, just trust that youâll learn what you need along the way. Wherever you are headed, we wish you, as they say in Oviedo, âbuen camino.â May you have a safe and meaningful journey.
Join us here in Phoenix on 2/27 as we explore Camino @greenwoodbrewing . Registration link in our bio.
