“24k Rasta” My finished mural for @reggaeriseup_arizona
I don’t often get to creatively express my Jamaican heritage on walls out here so I thought a reggae festival would be my best chance to do so. This is a piece of a Rasta or a black man with dreads throwing his hair up which is something I see reggae artist like the Marley do often but I too myself do it all the time so I thought it would look dope as an all gold statue but I don’t make sculptures to this degree yet so I painted it. And to add to it I wanted to highlight rastafari by adding some green representing growth (the vines in the hair) and the red tear drop representing the falling souljahs and the gold being the riches iykyk hope you enjoy 🙌🏿
Some final shots of baby girl in all her glory. My favorite 3D piece to date and first time I really got to play with an inside corner at this skill level. I remember trying to do 3D art when I first started 7 years ago and had no clue what I was doing but always learned a lil something every time now here we are.
Now who needs a 3D mural for their business their home their city? Talk about perspective!

We all start somewhere and it’s never too late TO START! With no experience and less than a decade later, @justcreatedit art is recognized all over the Phoenix area and he didn’t even pick up his first spray paint can until he was 27… 😳
A perfect example that the first time someone tried the thing they’re now known for, they were a beginner too.
What’s something you’ve been wanting to try but keep feeling resistance around? 👀
