An unsung spoken word lyrical love letter to working class hearts and forgotten friendships.
Step into an East End pie and mash shop, part memory, part myth, where steam, stories, and the spirit of friendship and community rise together.
Plebbing Up, a new spoken word theatrical work-in-progress written and created by spoken word artist Curly Wordy (aka Louise Hale)
Audiences are immersed in East London and into the hearts of two old friends, burning bridges and building new ones whilst celebrating working class womanhood. From Brick Lane beigels to back-alley wisdom in Tower Hamlets, this is the Hamlet's speaking back.
This performance is part of the SHIFT +SPACE programme.
