Did you know the gaming industry generates more revenue than movies, TV, and music combined? I had no idea.
It’s our job as @PHLcouncil members to figure out new ways to build up our economy, generate revenue, and chart new paths for the city. I think gaming can be that industry for Philly.
In mid September we held @phlgamefest which showcased dozens of independent developers and creators, as well as multiple panel discussions about the future of gaming in Philly. I can’t wait for next year’s edition… in the meantime stay tuned for some action in @phlcouncil 👀
@phlgamefest 2024 wouldn’t be possible without Nicodemus and @jumpbuttonstudio 🎮
Our first panel “Pixels and Possibilities” was moderated by Nico and focused on how creators and developers can break into the gaming industry 👾
🕹️👾The wait is almost over— tomorrow is the day! Get ready for a fantastic day of gaming, discussions, and more. Quick reminders:
🎮 Registration for the gaming competitions close at midnight (link in bio)
