This isn’t your typical speed dating night. Speed Gaming is designed for people who believe meeting someone new should be fun, relaxed, and not awkward. Instead of forced small talk, guests will connect through interactive video and board games—racing in Mario Kart, working together in Overcooked, and breaking the ice with group and one-on-one gameplay that makes conversation feel natural. Doors open at 6:00 PM, with Speed Gaming kicking off promptly at 6:30 PM and running through 10:00 PM. Throughout the evening, guests will rotate through three structured rounds of Speed Gaming, mixing group play with one-on-one matchups. After the final round, the event shifts into open free play, giving attendees time to continue conversations, game casually, and explore new connections at their own pace. This event is perfect for Philly locals ages 21+ who are looking for love—or at least a great night out—and prefer meeting people in a playful, low-pressure environment. Speed Gaming is LGBTQ+ friendly and open to guests from all walks of life. Speed Gaming is BYOB for guests 21+, with beer and wine permitted (all beverages must be sealed upon entry; no hard liquor or mixed drinks). Toonamaste Live at Localhost Philly was so much fun! @Toonamaste is a community-centered showcase celebrating indie creativity, gaming and culture, which brings together developers, artists, cosplayers and fans for an evening of interactive experiences and performances. Rooted in blerd (Black nerd) culture, Toonamaste celebrates the intersection of anime, video games, cartoons and music and creates a space for diverse nerd communities to come together to express themselves and be seen. The evening at @Localhostgg included an indie game jam and showcase, a cosplay contest, vendors, a raffle and scavenger hunt. Toonamaste Live also included special guests and performances including @cmthomasphl who talked about the upcoming @phlgamefest event at Localhost next month, and @pinkydollrealb who was a judge for one of the showcases. Can’t wait for the next Toonamaste Live!

Localhost Denver was the epicenter of collegiate esports last weekend for the Rocky Mountain Collegiate Series. 🏔️ RMCS Fall 2025 saw over 100 students across 18 teams and 5 different games compete in person on LAN at @Localhostgg . 🎮 The competition was fierce and included some intense finals! @cubouldergaming faced off against @csu.esports in the Marvel Rivals and VALORANT grand finals with CU Boulder winning in VALORANT, and Colorado State triumphing in Marvel Rivals! ⚔️ The biggest surprise of the day was Colorado Mesa’s big win! @cmu.esports upset CU Boulder in Overwatch 2 in a 7-game final that was decided in the last minute! CU was the 3-time defending champion in RMCS Overwatch competitions. 💥 Congrats to all the winners and GG’s to all the teams who came out to compete. See you at the next RMCS!!! 🏆
