A moment I will never forget…
A few months ago I was told that I should visit The View’s set, because there was someone there who truly appreciated my work. I was very humbled to hear who that someone was!
Before a formal introduction, THEE Whoopi EGOT Goldberg smiled at me from ear to ear, gave me the biggest hug and said ‘ I know you. I just love you. You are it.’
Being in Whoopi’s presence and having the conversation we had was unlike anything I could have ever imagined. It was a great reminder of how blessed I am. And y’all know I had to hit that ‘Joyful Joyful’ from Sister Act 😜🎶
HONORED…GMA!

•It’s the top of the year, and what a privilege to appear on Good Morning America, a show I grew up watching. Reporting nationally on the historic tolling program. It’s been quite the day, talking with drivers and how this will undeniably impact their lives for the future.

•Thankful to my WABC family, for their support today! See you soon ✌🏽

PUT FAITH IN THE FRONT SEAT, THROW FEAR OUT THE WINDOW!

•Embarking upon this new chapter has been nothing short of amazing. Continuing my life’s work, telling stories in the city where I’m from… is special. Getting in the business of wanting to help others always pulls at my heart strings.. because it’s the people that you meet each and
everyday that makes all the difference.

•Thank you LORD! I have a heart of full of gratitude. A HUGE, thank you to so many of you that have prayed, supported, called, text. And thank you to so many that have poured into me through the years, leading up to this moment. No man is an island. Always remember, we all may lose track, but get back in the driver seat and put that 🚗 in drive!

•Looking forward to a dynamic conversation in Harlem, @tciony - with Former Suffolk Police Commissioner Rodney Harrison who wrote a book about his journey from growing up in Queens to becoming the head of the police department.
What you build alone has a ceiling.
What you build together has a legacy.
I had the privilege of partnering with @philtaitt for the 2026 Dream Reach Inspire Youth Summit (@dreamreachinspire ) - putting youth across the boroughs in rooms that show them what’s actually possible.
That’s the kind of partnership worth showing up for.
Someone invested in you before you had a track record.
Someone believed in you before you could prove them right.
This is what it looks like to pay that forward.
Phil built something worth standing behind. That’s the kind of work worth putting your name behind.
Tag a leader who’s investing in the next generation.
We’re just a few short weeks away from our 160th Anniversary Gala… and we’re excited to share that Emmy Award-winning reporter Phil Taitt will be making a comeback as our host for the evening 🎉
From waking up with New York City each morning on Eyewitness News to showing up for young people across our communities, Phil brings the kind of energy that will make this evening memorable.
Phil isn’t just hosting our Gala, he's also one of our incredible partners. We recently partnered with his organization, Dream, Reach, Inspire, at the Career Sparks Summit, where students from across NY and NJ were encouraged to embrace a CEO mindset and step confidently into their futures.
We can’t wait to celebrate this milestone with him and all of you.

Thank you @theblackmancan for an evening under the lights, joining together in chorus, celebrating black men that are truly shaking up the landscape in all facets of society. I left both and inspired and moved, by the mark so many are leaving in their communities across the country!

Dream Reach Inspire had a victorious weekend in Brooklyn as more than 150+ students gathered from across NY and NJ for our Career Sparks Summit @mckinneyssa produced by @forsmilesinc ! •
•Our jam packed educational day of exploration kicked off with a short showcase, and charge from our founder Phil Taitt- who introduced our theme of young people embracing a CEO mindset! And that they did!
•
•Our young executives, immersed themselves into a reimagined career expedition, as they went to their business meetings. They travelled from to room as nearly 100 presenters spanning from Medicine, Engineering, Creative Arts, Business, and Social Justice allowed young people to see possibility right before their eyes! Their visual aids told their story… and how they embraced a CEO mindset to reach their career destination.
•
•Special thanks to all who partnered, including @wearebcs and 🍔 by @chickfila ‼️

We are honored to welcome Emmy Award–winning journalist Phil Taitt as a presenter at TheBlackManCan Awards.
A Brooklyn-bred reporter whose work sits at the intersection of truth, justice, and storytelling, Phil has spent his career bringing the stories that shape our communities to the forefront from social justice and politics to the moments that define New York City.
It is only fitting that he will present The Narrative Shifter Award because powerful journalism doesn’t just report the story… it reshapes the narrative. 🎤📰
