We are Meg & Phil, we are married, live in Perth and have 2 kids. We have spent much of our lives on and around dance floors and music is a defining force in our lives. In 2024 our best friend Jaals was diagnosed with MND, Jaals has a partner and 2 young kids and in 2025 we all lost her.
MND is a beast to live with and a complex death to process, this loss has been indescribable in its impact but we have decided to take our grief and all the energy around it and pour it into a positive endeavour, to try and build a house of joy, to dance and sing and raise funds for MND charities and research.
Our hope is that through research like that of @nerveconnection this disease with its horrific unpredictability and 0% survival rate can one day be managed and in the mean time organisations like @mndfoundation can continue to support those affected to live longer with better quality and more dignity.
