Clouds. In winter 2014, Philipp Messner experimented for the first time with colored artificial snow in the Dolomite Alps, Italy. From this public snow action a series of public projects started. The result was a landscapes that open a hypersurreal -

In May and December 2024, After the first action in the Dolomites 2013 another performative snow action was launched, this time back in Cortina.
The simple addition of food colouring reveals a colour field painting that simultaneously references its own artificial nature. Clouds in Cortina project was launched with @dolomiticontemporanee
