The last few months, I’ve been slowly putting together a new studio. From designing the acoustic treatment to finding a couch that would fit, it’s been quite the journey, but it’s finally feeling ready and I’m excited to get to work.
This year, I’m doubling down on composing and producing music. The creative side of making music has always been my favorite, and my hope is that this space will be a real harbor for creativity and collaboration. Things have been a little quiet around here lately so I’ve been making music for fun, chopping up samples, and just building up a library of beats and tracks to pull from. Pedal steel is cool and all but secretly I’ve just wanted to be a hip hop producer all along.
