This Bandcamp Friday we are offering limited copies of the original self press of The Cradle!
Six years ago this month we released this album amidst a global pandemic. It was not the start I imagined for this band, but the world slowed down for a moment and people connected to the music. Starting something new and especially a DIY project where I composed, engineered, mixed, and produced, along with playing bass is a vulnerable pursuit. But each trip to the post office when I’d look at the addresses and see the names of listeners from across the world I felt connected in a time of isolation. Now we are working on our 4th album! Thanks to the original band @sylvaincarton@joshcollazo_music@mitchellyoshida . Also @theetomg for the beautiful cover…..and thanks to all the listeners for inspiring us ! Much Love, Seth
Pressed at RTI in Camarillo CA.

Zach Tenorio has been called a wizard on more than one occasion, and it’s always been deserved.
The man is a machine. A wonder. And also very nice!
Zach plays in tons of stuff including the great @arcirismusic , the jam heads @taperschoice and the legend @willowsmith 🪁
He also just put out an incredibly dank solo album called Field Trip. It’s been on repeat over here, that’s for sure!
Unsurprisingly, his AOTY pick is as on point as his playing.
@phi_psonics are an incredible LA based outfit who put out an absolutely blissful capsule of songs back in May called Expanding To One. It’s really a trip into many galaxies. A great pick!

Seth Ford-Young :: Phi-Psonics Interview
Having worked with artists such as the late great Rodriguez, Sean Hayes, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, and the mighty Tom Waits, to name a few, LA-based multi-instrumentalist and composer Seth Ford-Young has been building a career in music for over four decades. Having come from the highly influential punk/hardcore and DIY culture in DC in the 1980s, the musician eventually relocated to the West Coast, where he eagerly established the creatively conscious collective Phi-Psonics. Over the years, Young has carefully constructed a brilliant and electrifying ensemble of musicians and collaborations to help explore the band’s never-ending nature of composition, timing, and radical responses to the intense identity of what being in a band is really about.
Now reading at The Self Portrait Gospel.
November 1 we are honored to return to @rebel.jazz festival in Venice! Outdoors by the beach and packed with great artists. No tickets required, but donations are encouraged.
Hope to see you there!
Thanks to everyone who came out last week for our @townhousevenice show. Feeling grateful for the great energy coming from the audience, and the welcoming atmosphere. Playing with @jeffparkersounds took us to some new places, hopefully we will join forces again!
Many thanks to @tylerhale and the whole TH crew.
