At the beginning of the year, I had told a few friends; “We’re very intentional about planning our careers, our goals, our futures but when it comes to the people we love, we leave those moments to chance. Then the year ends and we’re shocked by how quickly it passed, wondering why we don’t have memories to hold onto.”
The idea “Tiny Treasures” was born. The intention was simple: to be just as deliberate about making memories as I am about everything else. Was it hard? Extremely. It cost me time, energy, rest, and sometimes convenience. But was it worth it? Every single second 🥺.
As the year wraps up and I look back at these faces, these videos, these shared moments, I feel no regret at all. Time is truly a gift and every second I got to share with strangers, acquaintances, friends and family reminded me that love is also measured in moments — those brief, ordinary, fleeting moments that somehow carry enough meaning to last a lifetime.
My heart feels so full, in a way I could never have predicted. To my community, thank you for the long conversations, hearty meals and the spaces you held for me. By the grace of God, we go again in 2026 🥺❤️.

Work found my page, said I have too much free time so they locked me in 🔒. Don’t send help though (blinks twice) 🌝.
October - November 2025: Somewhere in between the uncertainty of starting something new and the grace of continuing.
Here’s to the privileges our step of faith gives ❤️.
Happy New Month! It’s Reboot Camp Season 😌🤏🏾.

September 2025 — Suspended between grey skies and quiet wars. The joy I had so generously shared became a weapon I had to wield for self-preservation.
Here’s to winning the battle in my mind and gearing up for the war that October seems to still carry ❤️❤️.

Goodbyes are hard, but I’ve learned that even parting can be tender, like folding a letter you’ll one day reopen ❤️.
This is an ode to long-distance friends both old and new and the farewells we made 🍻.

August 2025 — Lots of low moments home-cooked meals and sleepovers couldn’t fix.
To September, may your days be short and all the miracles God tucked inside you find me in His perfect time 🥂.
With a heart full of quiet thanks,
Pherkeh.

Episode 4:
One of my favourite things about existing with humans is watching them do things they said they would — 2, 3 or even 5 years later.
I remember documenting my NYSC camp days here and meeting Tomi a day before we left camp. In a few hours, we had bonded over being confused creatives in Lagos and I knew we were going to be good friends.
Years later, being creatives still earns us the dough, while we keep breaking bread together 🤭. Here’s to finding great friends like Tomi in the most unexpected places 🫶🏾.

July 2025 — collected joy like postcards ✉️, overshared some thoughts 💭, tortured people with my quirks 😶 and wore a terrifyingly grown-up hat 🥶.
Here’s to every stolen laugh, saved introspection and unhinged-but-beautiful moments 🥂.
With a dramatic sigh,
Pherkeh.

We meet strangers on the internet and they change the trajectory of our lives, sometimes good, others not so good. I have been lucky, 90% of my friends and acquaintances were made on Instagram a couple of years ago.
Lately, as we navigate these ever-evolving waters of friendships, I’m reminded of where we started — a simple, “I think you’re cool” message and years later we’re sharing meals and making core memories ❤️. Have you made any good friend online?
To @adebolalives , the one who loves loudly and joyfully.
PS: @piesandspice_kitchen , thank you for opening your doors to us. You’ve now become a part of our memory ❤️.
Love,
Pherkeh.

Being present with friends doesn’t always have to happen at the perfect time or in grand, dramatic ways. It’s about why and how you show up; with care, with intention or even in inconvenient ways.
To navigating friendship(s) and making work… work🥂. #FriendshipInTransit #Remoteworkingbutinacafe
Love,

The first half of 2025 has been interesting,
I have collected joy in buckets and sorrows in teaspoons.
My treasure chest now holds many tiny treasures — pockets of giggles, fragments of love, fingerprints of wonder, and whispers of joy.
To the people who passed through softly,
thank you for the gentle echoes you left behind.
With all the gratitude brilliance can hold,
Pherkeh.

I loved so many things about Uriri when I read it;
I adored the friendship between Odiri and Serome, as well as the one between Ovo and Tobore.
I respected the loyalty between Okakuro and Ovie,
I hated Ogaga for what he did to Serome,
I wept when Ovo found out his sister had died.
I was livid when she died, she deserved better. Truly.
I felt everything the writers wanted readers to feel, and I knew we were making something special. The crew knew it was a great story, that’s why it was so easy to pour blood, sweat and soul into it.
“Thank you” would not suffice, but thank you @mrxavierighorodje for building the worlds of Uriri, for creating phenomenal characters and for inviting us in to experience those raw emotions. It was truly beautiful ❤️.
Congratulations on your nomination as Best Scripted M-Net Original✨. Here’s to making more stories about the African culture that makes us feel truly alive 🥂.
