2025 crafting recap! ——————————— 2025 was honestly such a chaotic year for me. After my Alice hobby horse build I spent half of the year feeling crappy about everything I did so I straight up didn’t finish anything. I’m very fortunate to have awesome people in my life to help encourage me to keep going though! I’m also very happy to end the year on probably my favorite thing I’ve ever made. Vex was the most daunting build I’ve done yet. I am not a sewist by any means so the jacket was super intimidating. But I pulled through 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 My Jester is another favorite, she was made in 3 days for a figure drawing class. I’m more of a sci-fi girly than a fantasy girly so it was very fun to dip my toes into something new! CASTLE COSPLAY NIGHT JUDGE AND HOST ANNOUNCEMENT: Jack Rozsa @escapethevault @escape.the.vault @larozsa Jack Rozsa began her cosplay adventure in 2011 and it has been a wild 15 years- starting out bringing her favorite characters to gogo podiums, she has since guested at multiple cons and judged numerous cosplay contests from small local ones all the way up to DragonCon. While her love for characters is primarily from video games, she has branched out to characters from TV, movies, pop culture, and even some original creations, using her platform to promote mental health awareness. She also currently runs the @fallout_tacticians Costuming Group. She has placed in Creative Loafing’s Best of the Bay awards off and on since 2019- first place in 2019, 2020, and 2024, second place in 2025, and third place in 2023, while being nominated every year since the category was created. This is her 11th year hosting Cosplay Night, and she can’t wait to see what you all have in store for her.
