For our first party of 2023, pH Zero is thrilled to be bringing the one and only DJ Life over from Naarm for a downright amphibious toad-tech rinse-out at the newly renovated Gala Room this April.
One of Victoria’s foremost d-floor facilitators, DJ Life has quickly made himself known in the last few years for his distinctive brand of energetic, bouncy dance music. With a catalogue of releases on acclaimed underground dance labels such as Craigie Knowes, Echocentric Records, and R.A.N.D. Muzik under his belt, Pat has also recently launched his own label Program Earth, co-run with fellow dance prodigy Reflex Blue.
Equally at home behind the decks or on the dancefloor, Pat’s unique blend of deeply technical production and infectious humour will be sure get you moving as he takes us on an extended three-hour journey – ranging from deep below the surface of the primordial ocean to the far reaches of interstellar space.

The brainchild of Bound’s Slim Tim and pH Zero head Fin Le Guin, Caladan Soundsystem grew out of a mutual love of science fiction and the cheekier side of dance music. Never ones to take themselves too seriously, Caladan’s sole mission is to make sure the dancefloor is having as much fun as they are.
Getting the party started this Saturday, blast-off at 2100 hours…

@snakecharmerr : One of the DJs behind Adelaide’s legendary @snakepit.party parties, Serge has long been a pillar of the underground scene here. At home anywhere from sweaty late night club sessions to sunrise sets in the bush, Serge is known to bring mean techno chuggers to the dance floor (as well as the occasional fruit platter).
@strictface : As warm and friendly in life as he is precise and technical behind the decks, Jon is undoubtedly one of Adelaide’s greatest exports of the past several years. A guru of all things breaks, electro, garage, and more, Jon has an infectious energy that cannot be argued with. He has also just put out his first release of the year, “Rapidó Process”, which you can check out on his bandcamp.
