Hello again!
We are super stoked to announce another edition of our pride and joy Sunday session: Speak Low with our good friends at Stem.
We’re excited to host two artists for the first time and fill the Stem space with the sounds of some of Adelaide favourite selectors. This rendition will feature tasteful selections from the talented Fishermen’s Friend and Nantale
As always we’ll organise some great local beverage options which will be announced closer to the date.
Can’t wait to see you all there!
Bound is excited to present to you one of our personal favourite selectors: Nik Thorup AKA DJ Earl Grey
We’re not saying you should be looking for love, but this is a dance floor where you might find it. The slickest blend of R&B influenced dance music will have you bumping, grinding and wiggling well above your pay grade.
On this special night, Smokelovers will be turned upside down as we close those front doors to the public and save the space for some very important people. Entry will be strictly ticketed.
Funktion 1 sound will be provided by our friends and fellow promoter Inside Out and the space will be completely revamped to cater for your dancing pleasure - getting your freak on is no vice in our eyes.
As always Bound has a zero-tolerance policy toward anti-social behaviour. This includes sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia and any form of harassment. If you see or experience any of this behaviour please don't hesitate to let staff or event hosts know. We want this night and all future nights to be a safe and friendly experience for all involved.
Everyone deserves to feel welcome in these spaces.
Big shouts to @hobbyist___ for the incredible poster!
See you there

Hello friends!
Next Sunday we’re returning to Stem for a free daytime party amongst the sunlit greenery. As usual we’ll be organising some boutique refreshment options for your enjoyment.
Perhaps the most exciting news of all is that @melaquil will be gracing the 1s and 2s later in the day. Not only is Mehdi a superbly tasteful selector, but he is also the brain behind the most sought after mixer on planet Earth: @condesaelectronics
A vast collection of music that has grown over time has culminated in regular show on Bethlehem-based @radioalhara as well as a recent feature on @myanalogjournal to name a few. You can expect from Mehdi a colourful, groove-laden range of worldly funk, jazz, soul disco, beats and house music. Delightful.
Chalk this one in your calendar and bring along a friend. Also keep an eye out for further announcements regarding food and drink specifics.
See you next Sunday!
Introducing BABY MONET, long time friend of Bound and exceptionally rounded musical creative and selector.
We’re excited to finally be working with BABY MONET once again. Those who attended the first ever Bound show will remember perhaps the most raucous set in Bound history, which had Lotus Lounge (RIP) rocking to the sound of black techno and live saxophone (see final slide for memories).
Since that day, Em has been diligently improving her craft, becoming one of the most versatile and reliable selectors in our scene. Her hard work has seen her earn fixture with Naarm staple @wearenovel , beloved Kaurna community radio station @threedradio , and regular parties at Divide, recently supporting the likes of Juicy Romance and Jamie xx. These are but a few of the accomplishments that comprise an increasingly impressive resume that grows by the day.
Dancers can expect a smooth selection of musical, proggy goodness so make sure you get your feet on the floor in time for this set. See you all there 🤠

Introducing our first supporting act and long-time friend of Bound Radio: BRANDO
Brandon was perhaps one of Adelaide’s best kept secrets in recent years, patiently toiling away at various house parties and small festivals away from the public. It was a secret that couldn’t be kept for long however, as he made a habit of getting every dancefloor he frequents moving and shaking. Late last year he exploded onto the scene, earning him a fruitful residency at Divide club.
His reputation as a party starter is growing exponentially, and deservedly so. Dancers can expect a quick fire, unapologetic mixture of high energy, pop-underground mayhem to keep them moving on into the am.
If you haven’t yet had the pleasure of seeing Brando play, next Friday is your chance. See you all there 🤠

After a successful first boogie @divide.club on Friday, we’re back in the same place in a months time.
This time we’re lucky enough to be hosting Irish cosmic prog prodigy: Dylan Forbes. Fresh off a literal boat, Dylan will arrive ready to fill the room with glowing club euphoria. Releases with the likes of Coymix, Haws and Echocentric records gives any keen mover reason enough to show up.
Our supporting cast this time around features the ever-evolving and fantastically talented @djbabymonet , alongside Divide residential-party-starter @branrosalia and yours truly - the faceless and omnipresent Bound DJs.
Massive thanks to @c00ps_ for the glorious poster
Tickets on sale tomorrow.
Introducing another of our stellar support cast and member of Small City Systems: Claude
Claude is the mind behind the graphic design for Small City, including the poster for this very show. Possessing all-round creative ability that translates seamlessly to her exploits as a DJ.
Known for high-energy trance sets that light up dance floors in the early hours, Claude has more recently been digging the clandestine sounds of progressive club music.
Her versatile taste has seen her feature in all manner of parties around our city, including the likes of Housing Boom, Spin Lizzy, Pivot and most recently Heaps Good Festival. Also playing in bars all over the city, Claude is building a repertoire and reputation that can get any dancer moving, no matter their taste.
Don’t miss out.

Introducing the first of our support acts: Jon Santos a.k.a Strict Face
You have to witness it to understand.
Stricty is undoubtedly the foremost producer of club music in our scene, responsible for frenetic, energy-packed productions that draw from a dizzying range of influences including the likes of Shake Shakir, Yoshimi P-We, Chris Carter from Throbbing Gristle and Timbaland. Wowsers!
Like Sansibar, Jon also hails from a background in punk/hardcore, setting an interesting theme for listeners to consider. The broad range of influences that informs Jon’s sets means a sound you won’t hear from anyone else in Australia, let alone Adelaide.
Do not miss this set.

Introducing our headline artist for our upcoming show: Sansibar
Hailing from Helsinki, Finland, Sansibar is a project by the luminously talented Sunny Seppa, who aims to explore the physicality and movement within electronic club music.
Originally coming from a background in punk and metal, Sunny began a fruitful transition to club-oriented dance music 6 years ago - to great effect.
Owning releases with some of Europe’s most cutting-edge labels including Kalahari, Radiant Love and WARNING, Sansibar descends on the Australian summer primed for club pandemonium.
Join us on the 20th at Divide for a taste of European club euphoria.

Sansibar will be supported by a supreme local cast of selectors including Strict Face, Claude and new duo Figures In Motion. We would like to acknowledge that the land on which this event will take place is the land of the Kaurna people. We ask that you pay respect to the ancient and ongoing connection to country that is held by Kaurna people past, present and emerging. Please be mindful that this was, is and always will be Aboriginal land. Sovereignty was never ceded.
