Today @lizcooperdotcom new album, New Day is out. A lot of life was woven in between our sessions together over the course of 2024 through 2025 until today! Making records can often take a really long time. Time to experience things, time to reflect, time to write, perform/record, mix, master, schedule and after ALLL that, then RELEASE. And man, when it still resonates with you after all that, I mean, that’s what it’s all about right? This is the first record I made from start to finish in my humble garage studio. A place I love so much and where I pretty much spend everyday now. A few shout outs! I’m grateful for @pfred_ a beautiful bearded boy and a great person to make music with. So open, talented and always willing to listen. Knows when to speak up when help is needed and when to play along and follow someone else’s lead My dear friend @jocieadams from @arcirismusic played some bass clarinets on baby steps. A small part but one of my favorite sonic imprints on the whole record. My boy @oliverhill___ the Swiss Family Robinson of string arrangers will likely be on every record I make from here till forever. @farawayjazz is secretly the best drummer and percussionist I know and he adds the sickest atmosphere to Better Than Ever. @grantprettyman plays some bass and also helped Liz with album design and artwork. What a G. As always @emilylazarlodge and the team @lodgemastering make things POP POP POP My dog Hakeem probably deserves a shout out as well. I didn’t mean to put him in every video. He just is. Best studio dog in the biz, I will fight you on that. @lizcooperdotcom is an effortless artist. Her songs feel like every one of them were written on a paper napkin in a diner or dive bar. So poignant and accessible. Plus, she shreds. Plus, she is the nicest loveliest person to be around, plus hard working plus always down to literally clown. I love you Liz. I love this album. Go give Liz money now for her music or merch which is also sick. #nice #sick #icecold Go listen yall! Liz is the real deal and deserves to make a living making her art!

Unparalleled loss met unprecedented beauty in my very bad strange good year. Excited for 2026 to hit somewhere between the stratosphere and hell. 1. Weirdest birthday ever 5 days post fire 2. Happy record release day @ilovelucius 🚀 IMO, the latest is the greatest from this band and I’m so proud of them for this contribution to our musical landscape. Pete, Holly, Jess, & Danny: big time congrats 🌵 I was assistant engineer on the record as well as additional mixer on “Old Tape” feat. Adam from @thewarondrugs which is heavy fanboy territory for me (shout out to @lovecoolmatt for letting us use his amazing ‘63 Jaguar on that song btw). I also played guitar and sang on a couple songs. I’m so stoked on it. Please give it several listens and share it with people and go to the shows and buy merch 🤍 Before the rest of the shout-outs: @chimneyisme is a visionary producer. Watching and participating in his relentless and joyful pursuit of the most exciting, expressive edge of music is a masterclass and so much fun. I always learn a ton. Thanks for having me along. These @pattiegonia shows were exactly what we needed — joy, defiance, inclusivity, and more joy. I had a damn good time. I’ve also never seen 99%+ compliance with audience participation / dancing (every night), that was mind-bending. For that I credit @sammyraemusic & their incredible fans, those are some smiley-ass people who know how to show up and enjoy themselves. Thanks Sammy for having us along 🤍 First time for me playing some cool places (Palladium, T5, Fox Theater) and more importantly my first time performing with a drag queen. It felt vital and life-affirming and cunt and I’m v v grateful. Thank you so much to @solomondorseymusic for putting the band together, @allenju for smackin them drums in a satisfying and dryly witty way, @hzkanderson for the pics and videos, @thegraciegirl for being ginger, @hayhayron for keeping us together and also being ginger, @jennycdugan for not being ginger but I love you anyway, and of course Pattie for being the incredible light that you are. tonight in Baltimore is my last show of this @ilovelucius run 😢 I can’t say enough good things about this crew. I simply love them all. It’s a gotdam joy and privilege to be out here with them, I count my lucky stars e’ery day. The musicianship, friendship and songship are all so high level.
