Special one tomorrow night, Iāll be joining @pflext2025 & @robbielowerider celebrating Paulās 50yrs of DJing night at my second home @tatlersydney ! For those of u who arenāt familiar with Paul, he was one of the early pioneers of the Sydney Scene and doesnāt play a lot these days. Behind the decks heās one of those djās you really need to see at least once and I can guarantee heāll leave you pretty damn mesmerised. They truly donāt make them like they used to. The 3 of us will be playing 2 different sets so lots on offer to froth on. Iāll be playing after Paul both sets with my best mate RL to follow me and close out the club for his second set.
Pip and I also just got some positive health news about our son Taskian today so we are ready for a celebration! š

The decades have indeed rolled by my friends š I am so happy that I found my calling early in life & have been able to pursue a passion for presenting music to people for over 50 years through the art of DJ'ing. This Friday, 8th May @ Tatler In Kings Cross I shall be celebrating 50 years behind the decks alongside 2 great mates & wicked DJ's, Robbie Lowe & Garth Linton. Please come & make our night a splendid one. It will be busy as this venue has a limited capacity of 120 or so people. Once it's full, you won't be able to get in as it's open to the public & there is no guest list. In other words, please don't leave it too late to rock up. Paul āFlexā Taylor is a respected veteran of Sydney nightlife, with roots going back to the late 70s and early 80s when he first immersed himself in record stores, radio and the emerging club circuit. By the height of the disco era he was already developing the technical style that would see him place in the Australian DMC mixing finals, while building a reputation for live remixing, edits and deep musical knowledge. This year -on his 50th year DJing- "Flex" has remained a constant through every shift in dance culture, from disco and 80s through to house and beyond, earning his name through versatility and a selectorās understanding of what moves a dancefloor. This Saturday at Lucky Cat, Sydney, he brings that foundation to Electronique āOne Hit Wonders: rediscoveredā; digging into the archives to put a spotlight on those often overlooked but never forgotten classics.
