For some years now I have been photographing peoples art work, for them to use as a record and for promotional use.
Here is an example of a sculpture ‘Not a Swarm’ by @gillianbrent .
The second image is a detail.
Working for artists I can provide sets of corrected images ready to use.
Sheaf. A selection of images from a larger set taken while following the river (part way). The intention was to do the whole of it, which isn’t that long. But I haven’t managed to complete it after doubting my original ideas.
The process is to document without a preconceived focus. To allow the situation to come to the fore. The light and weather have an influence as well as direction of travel. There are some rules but not too many.
Just finished working on this shop shutter on Abbeydale Road. Early starts and warm weather made a change from freezing late evenings.
Thanks to CADS for making it happen and Oscars for letting me have the space.
Just finished this shop shutter in Firth Park. As the sun was shining this weekend and it had warmed up it was a good opportunity to get it finished. Thanks to @gillianbrent for helping out.
CAZ Clean Air Zone
The line that marks the Sheffield Clean Air Zone runs around the city’s ring road. This seemed like a starting point for some sort of photo exercise. There are lots of points that could be made:
looking in looking out, urban nature. urban urban, built environment, etc.
I decided not to have any rules those are for the viewer to make.
Hash tags can come later.
Sorry originally said Ulez but it’s only called that in London
