Today this smiling angel gave a warm jacket to a homeless and she saved a blackbird’s life. And the great thing, she doesn’t wait for Xmas to do things like that, it’s just how she is.

This is how we experienced the Saatchi gallery, celebrating 40 decades of pioneering art from Kaprow to now.
From there we went to the Tate Modern. And then we merited some shopping time, but not in the museum shop.

On our way to the National History Museum in London, also known as the cathedral of nature.
It holds the first fossil ever found of a bird, the discoverers first thought it was an angel. In the entrance hall a whale and a statue of Charles Darwin welcome each visitor.
⚡ Blij en trots met de uitnodiging om toe te treden tot de Raad van Bestuur van @passaporta het internationaal literatuurhuis in Brussel.
Dit voelt als thuiskomen. Als creatief directeur bij AKQA Brussels en auteur bij Lannoo kan ik hier mijn passie voor literatuur en communicatie samenbrengen.
Ik kijk ernaar uit om mijn expertise te delen en bij te dragen aan de missie van Passa Porta om literatuur te gebruiken als brug tussen culturen.

I have many favourite books, but I only have one favourite author: J.M. Coetzee.
It began as compulsory reading at university and has continued as voluntary reading ever since.
It was great hearing him speak, and touching to see how his perfectly composed sentences balanced his 80 year old voice.
