Yesterday we said goodbye (far too early) to our dear friend Nick @medafuryrecords . Nick was such a special person. It’s thing that gets said a lot, but in Nick’s case it was was really true. He did of course have the deepest musical knowledge and an unrivalled passion for music- he played the last record at our wedding party which was a HARDCORE interpretation of Roy Ayers’ ‘everybody loves the sunshine’. I don’t know anyone else that would or could play a record like that. It was perfect… He was also hilariously funny and quick witted with a healthily sense of the ridiculous and never failed to make me laugh. Nick was the one of the finest speculators in the world. Not the hunting for gold type of speculating. Speculations on why things were a certain way or why people had made certain decisions… about absolutely anything.. This makes for the camp fire chat of dreams! He was a kind, thoughtful, egoless man and I feel so privileged to have been able to call him a friend. I miss him so much. It was so beautiful to spend yesterday with a roomful of people that loved him too. Absolutely loads of them. Sending all my love to dear Liz @trafford_dj You’re an inspiration (and you don’t sound like Larry the lamb). x

Yesterday we said goodbye to one of our dearest friends, Nick @medafuryrecords It was a beautiful day, full of music, dancing, appreciation and many old friends. Truly a wonderful tribute to someone so special and loved. Nick was such a kind, gentle, funny and loving soul. We have had so many good times together over the years, whether that was dancing in a club, a field or a beach, seeing him DJ all over, campervanning trips , showing us favourite places in Ibiza, or just hanging out and being extremely silly. Nick was one a kind (matched only by his beloved Liz @trafford_dj ), a proper connoisseur, of music, but also of anything that was interesting and unique. I don’t know how many times we have waited outside various bric and brick and charity shops while he and Liz went digging for quite literally hours, before eventually giving and waiting for them in the pub! We will miss him so so much and will never forget him. Sending huge love and strength to our dear Liz, and all his family and friends at this hard time. We love you Nick .
