It’s official – @brigittereneephoto can do NO wrong! When we say we were absolutely delighted to receive this gallery of sneak peeks so soon after the wedding would be an understatement!
Michelle and Timothy had the most stunning day in April, with a lush, luxurious pastel floral design as the setting for their vows. As designers, we spend months tweaking and refining to make sure everything is exactly as we imagine it - every flower, every arrangement, every prop. So it’s always such a thrill to see the photos when they capture the aesthetic so perfectly! We can already tell you it's going to take SO MUCH restraint not to overwhelm our photo storage with this one…

Cocktail hour is one of our favorite opportunities to expand on a couple’s wedding aesthetic, and Michelle & Timothy’s celebration at the Omni Shoreham was no exception. We created overflowing garden baskets to anchor their seating wall and welcome mirror, filled to the brim with lush garden roses, hydrangea, hybrid delphinium and stock in pastel hues. The result was whimsical yet refined, perfectly tying together the day’s lush, romantic style and setting the stage for an unforgettable evening. 🌿💐

Will we ever be over the dramatic transformation of the ballroom at the Omni Shoreham for Michelle & Timothy's wedding? I don’t think so! The smilax throughout the perimeter of the ceiling was instrumental in the design to create a romantic, garden vibe. Can you guess how many team members and time it took us to complete this?

The Scout is Out! We are so excited to be featured in Volume 11 alongside so many of the incredible businesses that make Alexandria a great place to be.
Thank you to the @tsgalexandria team, @asicophoto and especially to @kerry.delaney for her inaugural volume! Can't wait for what's to come!
Still riding high from designing the first moment guests experienced at the Vol. 11 The Scout Guide launch party. The theme pulled from St. Bart’s energy, so of course yellow had to lead the conversation. Butter yellow, citrus tones, sun-soaked florals… this palette is absolutely having a moment right now. Creating this outdoor floral wall felt like building a little burst of summer before anyone even stepped inside, and honestly, the whole night was just so fab. ☀️💛

One of the best parts of the job is getting to know the families behind the weddings and events we design for, especially the moms. Over the years, we’ve met so many incredible women who embody strength, warmth, generosity, and heart in ways both big and small.
And one of the sweetest parts of growing our retail arm, the Shop at Petal’s Edge, has been watching some of our couples grow their own families. Getting to share in those milestones too, from Valentine's Day to Mother’s Day flowers, has given us great joy.
Happy Mother’s Day to all of the mothers and mother figures we’ve had the privilege of celebrating along the way.
One of the things we love about St. Francis Hall is how dramatic the room becomes once guests enter for the reception. Long tables, candlelight, and floral centerpieces change the entire mood of the space. We often mix tall and low arrangements here so the room feels layered and dimensional instead of flat. The result is romantic, a little theatrical, and exactly the kind of setting that makes a wedding dinner feel unforgettable.
For Allie & Bud's garden-inspired spring wedding at St. Francis Hall, the goal was to soften the hall’s historic architecture with flowers that felt abundant and organic. A palette of peaches, creams, and layered greens brought a fresh garden feeling into the room, with lush arrangements that felt almost as if they had just been gathered from the landscape. Against the stone walls and warm wood of the hall, the effect was both elegant and inviting, proof that this historic Washington, DC venue can transform beautifully depending on the floral vision.

Industrial space… but make it soft, romantic, and completely unforgettable ✨
Sally and Kevin’s wedding at the Torpedo Factory Art Center is exactly why we love this venue so much. It gives you contrast. Edge. And then you layer in blush, ivory, pale green, and gold? Magic.
Her bouquet was all the good stuff: white peonies, Cafe au Lait dahlias, garden roses, and the prettiest hint of blush. Classic, but not boring. Elevated, but still emotional.
And those ceremony arrangements? Pulled double duty into the reception (because yes, we’re always thinking about that). Soft romance in an industrial space just hits differently.
