I always have a habit of googling after recent watch purchases trying to learn as much as I can and I ran across these photos on @hodinkee of my first encounter with this piece back in October.
My attending this event was by total chance, I had run into @tiffywade who took these photos and learned @tantantheman was hosting an event at the new @blancpain1735 boutique.
I hadn’t gotten to see the new boutique yet and decided to invite myself. They were celebrating the release of the new Villeret’s. I arrived early with Tiffany and saw a preview of the watch on the screens and immediately grew excited because I had realized they changed the indices giving the line a more contemporary feeling. I appreciated that. I didn’t realize these photos existed until just moments ago doing my googles. Now it kind of feels like it was meant to be. I’ll share the story some other time of me actually picking up the watch. Maybe one day on @hodinkee talking watches 👀
