[ SPRINKLES ] A SKATEBOARD BRAND FROM SAN FRANCISCO
Sprinklesは、スケートしてる時やしてない時にホーミーズがいいバイブスを送る手信号を出し合ってたことから始まったんだ。その手信号は、焼き立てドーナツにトッピング砂糖を振りかける動き。それがスケートビデオプロダクションの名前になり、今はデッキやアクセサリーを売ってスケートビデオ作りの生活スタイルを支えてる。このおかげで僕たちは街に出れて、この素晴らしい世界にいられるわけ。仲間がスケートで僕たちをアゲてくれるみたいに、みんなのテンションを上げて外に出てスケートしてくれたらいいなって思ってる。

2001年にAREthは日本のシューズブランドとして誕生しました。 シンプルかつオリジナリティーのあるデザイン、履き心地や質感、耐久性の高さにこだわり、飽きの来ない長く愛される物をと、 より自分達の考えるライフスタイルに合った、地に足の着いたあしもとの提供を目指しています。AREthという名前の由来は、We areの『are』、4th、5thなどの順番を表す『th』の組み合わせで、簡単に言うと『自分達の番』、 そして『地球』という意味合いを含んでいます。 現在という時間、ここ地球に存在する自分達が時代を表現していくという認識が起源であり、様々な分野で活動するアーティスト達を サポートし意識の繋がりを意味しています。

Sprinkles started as homies throwing the hand sign to each other for good energy on and off the skateboard. The hand sign is like dusting a fresh donut with sprinkles. Then it turned into a skateboard video production name. Now we sell skateboards and accessories to help the lifestyle of making skate videos. This allows us to be on the streets and in the mix of this beautiful world. In turn we hope it hypes other people to go outside and go skate the same way our friends get us hyped to skate.
