blip is excited to invite mattia, aka @peratekkk up from byron bay to join us this saturday. over the last few months, we’ve caught a few of his sets at events like SASH and wave connection and it felt like the right fit to bring him to brisbane to play. with a background in guitar, mattia’s real love for dance music was born in verona, italy and it was nights at local institutions alterego and veniceberg where he found his love for electronic music, that then motivating him to start digging and djing himself. his sound moves through deep house, electro and techno without losing sight of the italian underground and the culture that comes with it. we’re looking like we’re on track to sell out, head to resident advisor to secure your place with us on saturday 🫟

blip is beyond excited to announce our second party of the summer series. with our last event held overnight in the beautiful brisbane outdoors, our next date will be during the day in an intimate, new and not used before inner-city venue set to become our new home. a 2pm start, come early and stay late… we will announce the location on the day, but the formula remains the same. extended sets, a hi-quality soundsystem and the blip sound. after blowing us away with her opening set at the daura party, we had to bring @lilkattyhan back up from tasmania, this time with a well-deserved peak time billing. it’s also a first appearance at blip for co-founder and vinyl wunderkind, @creasedvenetian as well as being joined by our phyrgian collaborator and meanjin minimal techno staple @ethnjohnsn . @ppppppuddinggggggg returns to finish what he started at the first party, and we’ve invited a new discovery from one of our trips down to byron - mattia, aka @peratekkk , a northern rivers based italian dj who really impressed us with his sound a few months back early bird tickets are on sale at resident advisor now. link in bio see you on march 7th blip artwork by @michaela_wilson__ 🫟
