We wanted to represent the people of the Anioma community through their rich and diverse cultural heritage, with special emphasis on the masquerade tradition and the iconic Akocha fabric. The inspiration also draws subtly from the biblical reference to the “Coat of Many Colours,” symbolizing identity, honor, and expression. While deeply rooted in tradition, the look maintains a modern interpretation of the Delta Igbo bride — blending culture, storytelling, texture, and contemporary design into one visual narrative. It is a reflection of patience, dedication, and perseverance.
