Wrapped in the golden glow of late September, Stefanie and Christian said “I do” at Blue Sky Ranch. Canvas Events & Design created a celebration that felt effortless, personal, and perfectly timed with the turning leaves.

Perfect weather, golden light, and approximately 4,000 mosquito bites later… absolutely worth it for these Butterfield Canyon senior photos with Dempsey.
What I loved most about photographing this gathering was how personal it felt.
Of course the inspiration was beautiful. The coral and scarlet palette, the fashion references, the invitation suite, and every thoughtful detail made it such a fun event to photograph. But what stayed with me most was the connection in the room.
I loved meeting each person, learning their name, hearing about their business, and feeling the group become more familiar as the afternoon unfolded. By the end, I knew every person there and what they brought to the table, which made the event feel less like networking and more like a true gathering.
A beautiful afternoon at Waldorf Astoria Park City with Société Privée and so many thoughtful creatives.

You can tell River Bottoms Ranch was built with photographers in mind. It’s all contained, there’s a simplicity to it, and it feels private in a way that lets the day move without interruption.
The bride’s room carries that same intention. Soft, even light, nothing harsh, nothing competing. Just a space where the morning unfolds with the people closest to her.
Sometimes as a photographer, it feels good to just play. Lately I’ve been shooting more mockups and details, testing film, trying new angles, playing with lenses, and getting creative with people who make the whole process feel easy and inspiring. There is something really fun about having space to experiment, follow the light, notice the small details, and make images just for the love of making them.
Nina and Chris’s August wedding at Montage Deer Valley felt crisp, classic, and completely true to the setting.
