Ever built a buffet salad that people actually get excited about? We do it all the time.
Burrata, tomatoes, stone fruit, farro, and arugula came together for a buffet setup that felt fresh, seasonal, and a little more special than the usual greens-on-a-plate situation.
Creamy, bright, hearty, colorful, and easy for guests to come back for seconds.

A little Kaleb Crafts spotlight today.
Kaleb has been part of Culinary Crafts in so many ways over the years: working events, hosting guests, serving with care, and always showing up for the team.
We loved seeing him share @drinkhighwest with guests at @tagranch , and we’re grateful for everything he brings to Culinary Crafts.
Cheers to Kaleb! 🥃

Consider this your sign to take cocktail hour seriously.
Razored beef with creamy polenta and caramelized onion. Tender, savory, and rich in all the right places, with polenta bringing the creamy comfort and caramelized onion adding that slow-built sweetness.

Emma & Luke’s wedding details stopped us mid-scroll.
Soft pastel florals, warm wood tables, airy white draping, and that golden outdoor light made the whole celebration feel fresh, romantic, and so beautifully inviting.
We loved the way every detail worked together, so naturally we couldn’t pick one favorite.
A few moments from a day the incredible vendor team brought together so beautifully.

This menu won Best Catered Wedding of the Year, and today we’re taking you behind the scenes. @icacater
A few years ago, Anna & Nick came to Culinary Crafts with a dream menu rooted in their Italian heritage, their American story, and their love of really good food. Our kind of assignment.
The menu included fried squash blossoms, roasted beet arancini, pan-seared scallops, handmade ricotta malfatti with black truffle, roasted chicken, branzino, house-made gelato, and on-site cooking that brought guests closer to the menu.

Seafood paella built in the pan with saffron rice, rich stock, mussels, shrimp, and careful timing. It is colorful, aromatic, made for gathering, and one of our favorite ways to bring a little kitchen energy into the room.
Why it works
• The wide pan helps the rice cook evenly and build flavor
• Saffron brings warmth, color, and that signature paella aroma
• Seafood is added at the right moment so it stays tender
• Guests get to watch the process come together in real time
• It turns dinner into part of the experience

Tablescapes are where the whole event starts to feel real.
As caterers, we look at a table a little differently. We’re thinking about flow, service, spacing, glassware, menu placement, guest comfort, and how every detail works once the food starts arriving.
The florals, candles, linens, place settings, and dinner service all have to share the same table beautifully. When it works, the table doesn’t only look good in photos. It feels easy, intentional, and ready for people to gather around.

Cavatappi with squash béchamel, truffle, and an herb crust, finished with freshly shaved black truffles right at the station.
The squash béchamel brings the creamy, cozy base. The herb crust adds texture. The truffle brings depth without overpowering the dish.
Very much our kind of comfort food.

Our olive oil cake with aged vanilla sabayon and strawberries.
Olive oil helps create a soft, tender crumb and adds subtle richness without making the cake feel heavy. Strawberries bring brightness, and the sabayon adds a silky, custardy finish.
Yes, it belongs at your next event.
