THIS WEEKEND: Look for us at the new Modern Craft Market presented by @handmadearcade Pittsburgh’s David L. Lawrence Convention Center from March 27–29. This juried shopping event will celebrate the best of contemporary craft and will feature thousands of unique, handcrafted products like Penn/Fairmount's line of tableware, handmade here at Pittsburgh Glass Center.
The 2026 market will feature work from 100+ individual makers from 12 different states, including several glass artists from our region. Be sure to visit our friends @atischlerglass , @morgangilb , @salvador.alane , @shapesofanykind , and @ultralit.sb at the market. There will also be live art demos—including PGC's Hot Wheels mobile glassblowing studio—raffles for maker-created handmade goods, and more!

The ILTA x Helmi Remes collection takes its cue from Pittsburgh’s water towers, reimagined through the lens of Finnish designer Helmi Remes. Known for blending abstract art and functional design, Remes collaborated with the Penn/Fairmount team during her recent residency at Pittsburgh Glass Center to create glassware defined by clarity, balance, and proportion.
