The iPendoring Schools Webinar featured insights from the iPendoring team alongside @papa_action from @thisismachineza
The session unpacked what makes a strong iPendoring student entry, how to bring #multilingual ideas to life with confidence, and why creativity rooted in your own language has the power to stand out. The message was simple: when you #SayMo your ideas carry more weight. Your language is not a limitation — it's your creative advantage.

In South Africa, language isn't just how we speak — it's how we see the world. A tapestry of voices that gives our ideas their edge. When those voices are missing, the work loses its depth, its relevance and its truth.
Entries for the 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣6️⃣ iPendoring Awards are now open🎉
We're looking for ideas that cut through — work that connects, surprises, and leads. If yours is culturally rooted, boundary-pushing, and impossible to ignore, it belongs here.

Freedom means being able to speak, create and be understood in your own language.
Today, we reflect on how far we've come and how far we still need to go. South Africa's strength lies in its languages — not just as #heritage but as living ways of thinking, expressing and connecting.
At iPendoring, we celebrate and support the languages that carry our stories, because true #freedom means no one is left out of the conversation.
Happy Freedom Day 🇿🇦

South Africa's strength is its diversity. Twelve official languages, countless voices, and a creativity that only grows when every story is heard. Fostering dialogue with young people is essential. It's how we ensure their ideas, perspectives, and voices shape the way we communicate, create, and connect.
We're always looking to champion young voices in fun and creative ways, such as the Mzansi Sounds Better in Your Language iPendoring Radio Challenge, giving students the space to experiment, express themselves, and show just how bold and authentically South African their ideas can be.
When youth voices are heard in their own language, creativity thrives, and the conversation becomes richer for everyone.

30 years into democracy and… English still dominates even this one!
iPendoring endeavours to always celebrate creativity in all South Africa's indigenous languages, giving voices the space they deserve and reminding the communications world that one size does not fit all. Because everyone should be able to say what they want, the way they want.
And honestly? It makes the work way more interesting.

We’ve always believed that growth should expand the circle, not redraw its boundaries. By giving every indigenous language equal space and respect, participation naturally increased, the work deepened, and the stories began to reflect South Africa in all its richness and complexity.
As technology and the digital landscape increasingly shape how culture is shared and preserved, language inclusion has become a global conversation, echoed by UNESCO’s call to leave no one behind.
Our journey shows what that principle looks like in practice: creating space for all voices and ensuring no one is left out. That’s the standard we hold ourselves to.

To every student who submitted a script, shared a story and put their heart into words, thank you.
The response to this year’s competition has been nothing short of powerful.
Our judges are deep in the reviewing phase and trust us, the conversations are lively. Winners will be announced in the next few weeks, so keep an eye on this space.
The future of South African storytelling looks very good.

This year felt like watching iPendoring step into its next chapter with real confidence. Turning 30 wasn’t just a milestone, it was a moment to rethink who we are and who we’re here for.
We started by embracing what South Africans have been saying all along: iPendoring. A small shift that opened the way for a refreshed identity rooted in our history but ready for the future.
With brilliant creative partners, the campaign came to life through #TaalNeverDieWeMultiply. A reminder that our indigenous languages aren’t fading, they’re evolving, reshaping, and showing up everywhere from Kaaps to kasi slang to digital culture.
And the year kept building.
We brought more people into the fold – educators, technologists, creatives, and cultural leaders. The Indigenous Language Imbizo sparked important conversations about AI, literacy, and language as cultural power. Our new partnership with Brand South Africa launched the Student Radio Ad Challenge, giving young voices a national platform.
Then came the 30th anniversary Awards Ceremony, a night full of energy and memory. With Sello Maake kaNcube returning as Archie Moroka, direction by Jefferson Tshabalala, and music from Muneyi and Kekelingo, a proper celebration of the talent driving our creative landscape.
Through it all, our long-standing partners stood with us, and new collaborators helped us grow.
If there’s one takeaway from 2025, it’s this: South African creativity keeps moving. It keeps multiplying. And iPendoring will keep championing it.
