Meet Chrissy Daigle, OTD, OTR/L â¨
It felt like a good time for a reintroduction. Iâm Dr. Chrissy Daigle, owner of Pelvic Solutions, a specialty pelvic health practice offering both clinic-based and in-home pelvic floor therapy. With a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OTD) and extensive education in pelvic health, I treat clients of all genders with bladder, bowel, and sexual health concerns. Iâm passionate about helping individuals achieve their highest potential and enhance their quality of life, utilizing my medical expertise with a compassionate approach throughout my practice.
A bit about me:
đ¤ Background: Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OTD) from Nova Southeastern University, Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
đ¤ Specialties: Pelvic health
đ¤ Philosophy: A client-centered approach that emphasizes empowerment, holistic care, and individualized interventions
đ¤ Hobbies: Reading, outdoor activities (walking, hiking, kayaking, boating), and spending time with my husband, Drew, and our dog, Lilly
đ¤ Fun fact: I grew up in Tampa and attended both college and graduate school here. Iâve loved watching the city transform over the years.
One thing about me is that I LOVE occupational therapy. Itâs the perfect blend of science, creativity, and compassion. We are problem-solving masters, integrating motivational interviewing skills to understand your habits, roles, routines, and priorities to help you achieve your goals.
I use all of my OT skills in pelvic health to assess individualsâ sensory systems, musculoskeletal health (strength, range of motion, mobility), and personal skills to address tasks such as toileting, intimacy without pain, and enjoying life without bladder or bowel issues. My goal is to help you gain the skills and strategies needed to accomplish everything you want and need to do.
My favorite part of working in pelvic health is the diverse group of clients Iâm fortunate to treat. From ages 18 to 90+, with any bladder, bowel, intimacy, pre/postpartum, or prolapse concerns, Iâm here to help.
If youâre interested in working with me, visit and follow along for pelvic health insights and tips!
Symptoms donât always show up during big, obvious moments like double unders, sneezing, or coughing.
â¨They often happen during the in-betweenâsmall tasks around the house, caring for your baby, or even while resting.
This is exactly why a functional assessment matters.
Your pelvic floor is part of a system:â¨â¨ It works with your breathâ¨â¨ It coordinates with your core + hipsâ¨â¨ It responds to posture, load, and movement patterns
So before jumping into strengthening, we have to ask:â¨đ Is it weak, overactive, or just not coordinating well?â¨đ What happens when you move, lift, squat, carry your baby?â¨đ Are you managing pressure effectively?
Because real progress comes from:â¨âď¸ Understanding your specific patternâ¨âď¸ Restoring coordination (not just strength)â¨âď¸ Building strength that actually translates to daily life
Your body deserves more than a one-size-fits-all approach.
If youâve been doing âall the right thingsâ and still dealing with symptoms, it might be time to look deeper. đ¤

We love providing samples of lubricants, vaginal moisturizers, and serums that could help you level up your pelvic health.
What weâre looking for in a good lube:â¨âĽď¸ Osmolality that wonât irritate delicate tissueâ¨âĽď¸ pH-balanced to support the vaginal environmentâ¨âĽď¸ Free from glycerin, parabens, and unnecessary additivesâ¨âĽď¸ Long-lasting glide without feeling stickyâ¨âĽď¸ Compatible with your body and your lifestyle
Some of our go-to favorites: Good Clean Love, Slippery Stuff, and Uberlube đ
The right lube can be a game changer đ
Not sure whatâs best for you? Thatâs literally what weâre here for đ¤

âMommy thumbâ AKA De Quervainâs tenosynovitis - a sign your body needs support đ¤
If youâve noticed pain at the base of your thumb or along your wrist when lifting your baby, opening jars, or even texting⌠youâre not alone. It happens when the tendons in your wrist become irritated from repetitive strain (aka all the holding, feeding, carrying, and comforting you do daily).
⨠Why it happens:â¨- Repetitive lifting (especially with your thumbs outstretched)â¨- Hormonal changes affecting tissue sensitivityâ¨- Weakness or imbalance in the wrist + forearmâ¨- Lack of support during feeding or carrying
⨠What it can feel like:â¨- Sharp or aching pain at the thumb/wristâ¨- Pain when gripping, twisting, or liftingâ¨- Swelling or tenderness along the thumb side of the wrist
⨠What helps:â¨- Adjusting how you lift your baby (hint: keep wrists neutral!)â¨- Using pillows or support during feedsâ¨- Gentle mobility + strengthening exercises (see above!!)â¨- Bracing in more irritated phasesâ¨- Addressing full-body mechanics (yes, even your core + posture matter here!)
Your body is adapting to a HUGE new demand. Letâs support it the right way đŞ
