Amy Novelli: For those of you who don’t know, and those of you who knew Amy, this past week she sadly left us. It is not an exaggeration to say that there was nobody like her. She was brave, full of life, adventurous beyond any stretch of the imagination, to even begin to try tell her adventures would take much too long, and certainly not in this little bit of space. Amy was larger than life, she was life and she lived it on her own terms, her own way, unrestrained, free, strong, not unlike her mustangs. She was a true inspiration to me and to all who had the opportunity to know her. I am fortunate that she was part of my life for over 30 years. Amy had such a wide network of friends from all over the place so for those who see and read this, and who knew her or knew somebody who knew her please share. And if you have a piece of her artwork, honor it. Shine on my friend.❤️
Tonight @ 6:30! Everloving plays the music of Henry Flynt. Excited to be playing with these amazing musicians! Experience the sounds at The Emily Harvey Foundation @emilyharveyfoundation@tableoftheelements
I don’t know how to repost but if you’re around the LES this evening, come down & check this out. I rehearsed last night with these guys & was so blown away by the sound & of course the amazing musicians! Really excited to play with them!
This video is a collaboration of talents. The lyrics are a poem written by my dear friend Marc Zegans, poet, author & spoken word artist residing in the Bay Area. The video was beautifully filmed by photographer, filmmaker Damian Calvo and like Marc, a longtime friend & co-collaborator with whom we’ve done video & stop-motion projects together. To tie it all together, I had the opportunity & joy to work again with Tony Maimone who recorded & engineered this at his spectacular Studio G in Brooklyn. All amazing people & artists. Thank you guys!
