Do you ever go to an orgy and think about how unsustainable it is? Ennis Finerty McKay did. After parading in a darkroom, he noticed how condoms were simply thrown out, disposed of to get to the much-needed lube. While dropping to his knees, a penny dropped. For his MA collection at Central Saint Martins, for which he won the L’Oreal prize, he worked with condoms as material, utilizing them as fringes on a cap and shorts. The collection, which speaks of inheritance and familial proclivity towards addiction, is brilliant. Of course, I’m biased, I contributed to the collection by piping latex on wool—it was as kinky as it sounds. read the full interview on my SUBSTACK where we talk of artistry, the evolving relationship gay man have with sexual risk and dicks, lots of dicks.

@ian_archives has the perfect chest to lie on. Just ask @dior @chanel @fkachristianlacroix and, now, me. The collector and designer has spent two decades building an archive filled with some of the industry’s finest gems. In its honor, we focused our conversation on every fashion gay’s birthstone: costume jewelry. We run through some of his stack to trace his lifelong passion. From an early obsession with bags that led him straight (ironic) into a career as an accessories designer to making history at Raf’s Dior: he’s done it all, seen it all and knows it all. Ian does more than make his big chest the backdrop for a small portion of his collection, he opens it up. We chat about the first designer piece he ever purchased, crocodile Kellys with diamonds and Alber Elbaz’s Lanvin. go read it! link in bio!

“it’s a wardrobe” @celine mens fw26 is staged as statues of everyday wear. it reminds me of the way i arrange my outfits the night before a big day. michael rider’s biggest strength is to make clothes that belong in our closets (or should at least be in mine). in an age where patina is sold in store, rider offers something much less contrived. clothes that are easy to make one’s own.

@jermania , footwear designer and collector, wears his archive. To walk around the house, to lounge in, to not cook (he doesn’t do that flat-footed either), and now, to have me drool over it. It’s not often his collection is visited. Loaned out, sure. Rama Duwaji is the latest to wear one of his pairs. my goal when starting an OnlyFans was to understand the love for objects from an emotional perspective. Yet, here I am, immediately surrendering to the fact that, sometimes I just love something because it’s cunt. Jeremyn is just the person to jump to that conclusion with. Together, we gush about formative fashion moments and gossip (all off record, sorry) for literal hours. go to my SUBSTACK for the conversation. ITS FREE directed/edited BY ME
