La colección ENSAMBLE es una colaboración de @peca_studio con @studio84mx
A fictional space designed to host a new lineage of stone furniture pieces from @peca_studio . Balancing vivid tezontle stone colours with earthy, grounding tones, the space allows furniture both to stand out and be felt as an integral part of the place.
The boundary between spatial and furniture design becomes blurred: it’s a tool of synchronization. The furniture is not created solely as sculpture, but it’s also a connector between different uses of space. This fictional environment was built around this dual nature, thoughtfully designed to hold it.
The furniture design, on the other hand, holds reverence towards the sumptuousness of tezontle, Mexico’s volcanic stone. It leads us to honor this noble material with tables/sculptures whose rich, porous tops sit on monoliths born from the whims of Mexico’s terrain.
Carved lines run through the surface, guiding the eye toward polished discs that flow from the monoliths underneath, telling the story of their origin. Petra calls on the mysteries of nature and their sacred play in our day-to-day lives.
Petra Dining and Coffee tables are now available in tezontle.

COA Side Table by Peca Studio @peca_studio
Coa is inspired by the serpentine rhythm, part of a series connecting with the essence of the pre-Hispanic past. Carved in volcanic tezontle, its surfaces interact with light to create shifting highlights and shadows, enhancing depth and movement.
Grounded in the heritage of local materials and the craft of stone carving, Coa bridges tradition and contemporary expression through both material and form.

The AURUM Credenzas, designed by @caterinamg and @karlaunmillon , were produced as a custom version for the new Cantina Contramar @cantinacontramarlv , within Fontainebleau Las Vegas @fontainebleaulasvegas .
Sandblasted wood: oak in black finish, rosa morada, and ash in natural oil.
The project, by chef Gabriela Cámara, marks Contramar’s first expansion in the United States, bringing its identity into a new context.
Architecture by Frida Escobedo reinterprets the Mexican cantina.

~ Monolito volcánico
PECA (@peca_studio ) devela una escultura en piedra que transforma el acto de sentarse en un gesto de poder, pausa y conexión con lo esencial. Hay objetos que se sienten antes de entenderse. TRONO nace de una intuición primaria: trabajar la materia con las manos y permitir que el gesto permanezca. El escultor y diseñador canadiense Jeff Martin (@jeffmartinjoinery ) modeló primero en barro crudo, dejando visibles las huellas del proceso —marcas, presiones, ritmos— que luego fueron traducidas al monolito de piedra volcánica mediante labrado manual.

Gracias a quienes nos acompañaron en
LUGAR: Transformar la materia.
Lugar reúne prácticas que retornan a la tierra y a los materiales naturales como lugares de pensamiento y acción.
La exposición presenta piezas que portan saberes técnicos y vínculo con el territorio, para interrogar sostenibilidad, fragilidad y las poéticas del hacer.
Las piezas articulan narrativas de técnica y comunidad, incluyendo intervenciones realizadas por arquitectos invitados que experimentan con tierra y materiales naturales, y ponen en tensión oficio, experimentación y relato.
Las obras reunidas privilegian procesos y oficios como gestos que sostienen memoria colectiva frente a la estandarización.
Lugar invita a pensar otras economías del hacer y otras poéticas del cuidado: un encuentro entre lo rural y lo urbano, entre saberes populares y prácticas contemporáneas, entre técnica y ecología.
